Season 2 Eras Analysis
Season 2 introduced a new concept called "Eras".
Now that we've entered the "Final Era" let's see how the marketplace reacted to these balance changes.

For our comparisons, I used Season 1 as a benchmark and split out the first "Rare" Era and the "Epic" Era. The mystic and final era comparisons will be a later thread. Which classes are receiving love? Which are being discarded? Let's look at selling prices first:
Average Selling Prices from S1 to S2 Epic
Aquas: =
Beasts: $18->$12
Bird: $9 -> $13
Bug: $21 -> $13
Dawn: $30 -> $42
Dusks: $8 -> $13
Mech: $12 -> $9.5
Plant: $10 -> $5.5
Reptile: $9 -> $12
All in all, it's actually quite impressive and balanced. One class stayed neutral, while four classes increased in price, and four classes decreased in price!
Average Axie Price in Season 1: $13.90
Average Axie Price in Season 2 - Rare Era: $12.72
Average Axie Price in Season 2 - Epic Era: $14.31
Next up is looking at which Axies are selling the most by volume. This can be influenced by many different things, such as the Axie's price or newly discovered Meta.
Sales Volume By Era:
Class - Season 1 - S2 Rare - S2 Epic
Aqua - 21% - 23% - 23%
Beast - 24% - 18% - 16%
Bird - 8% - 9% - 10%
Bug - 4% - 11% - 5%
Dawn - 2% - 2% - 2%
Dusks - 6% - 6% - 8%
Mech 3% - 5% - 5%
Plant- 24% - 17% - 21%
Reptile - 9% - 9% - 10%
The largest trend I would say is the beasts decline from S1 to S2. No more OP Rage teams! Birds, Dusks, Mechs, and Reptiles all holding strong!
